Machines that boot cold and stay up▮

We buy tired synthesisers, pedals and modules, strip them to the board, and put them back on the shelf with a signed test sheet. Twelve units are listed right now, every one of them run for two hours before it was photographed.

// BEFORE THE CARTON IS TAPED

Two hours powered on, then a signature

Nothing leaves this room on a quick listen. Every unit runs a two-hour soak at 23 °C, gets a signal test at three points, and ends up with a sheet that names the technician who signed it off. If a unit fails the soak it goes back on bench 3 and off the site.

✓Recap of every electrolytic over 15 years old
✓Pots and jacks cleaned, re-tensioned or replaced
✓Calibration against a 1 kHz reference tone
✓Two-hour soak at full polyphony, logged
✓Printed test sheet, signed and dated, in the carton
✗No cosmetic retouching that hides a repair
✗No unit listed before the soak has finished

IN → SOAK → OUT · 48 H END TO END
STAGE 01 · IN

You place the order

Pick the unit and the variant. We hold it for you the moment the order lands, so nobody else can buy the one you chose while you finish paying.

STAGE 02 · SOAK

It goes back on the rack

A final 40-minute power-on, a wipe down, and a photograph of the unit as packed. That photo goes in the dispatch email so you know exactly what left the room.

STAGE 03 · OUT

Courier, tracked

Within 48 working hours. Poland 24 zl and free over 900 zl, 2 – 4 days. The rest of the EU is 79 zl, 4 – 7 days. Everything ships double-boxed with foam.

WHAT DOES DELIVERY COST AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Poland is 24 zl and free above 900 zl, arriving in 2 – 4 working days. The rest of the EU is 79 zl, 4 – 7 working days. Everything is dispatched within 48 working hours of the order, double-boxed, tracked and insured for the full purchase price.

CAN I SEND A UNIT BACK IF IT IS NOT FOR ME?

Thirty days from the day it arrives, in the carton it came in. Change of mind means you pay the return label, roughly 35 zl inside Poland. If the fault is ours we send a courier and a prepaid label the same day, and the refund clears within three working days of the unit landing back on the bench.

HOW BIG IS A CB-204 AND WILL IT FIT MY DESK?

480 × 320 × 95 mm and 4.1 kg, so it sits on a 60 cm desk with room for a laptop beside it. The pedals are 120 × 95 mm each. The Patchwall case needs 55 cm of clear width and 20 cm of depth once the power lead is in.

WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE CARTON?

The unit, a 12 V 2 A supply with an EU plug, two 1.5 m patch leads, a printed voice card and the signed test sheet. A sustain pedal and a flight case are not included — we sell both separately and will pack them in the same carton if you ask.

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY ON A REBUILT UNIT?

Twenty-four months on everything we rebuild, parts and labour, counted from the delivery date. It covers the work we did and the parts we fitted. It does not cover a spilled drink or a dropped unit, though we will still quote you for that repair at the normal bench rate of 180 zl an hour.

CAN I PUT MY NAME DOWN FOR A SOLD-OUT UNIT?

Yes. Send us the unit code and we add you to the list in order of arrival. The Scrapyard Organ comes back on 14 March and has four names ahead of you at the time of writing. The waitlist costs nothing and you are never charged until you say yes to a specific unit.
